Beyond the Shop: Know Your Customers

What I would tell you and something that most people do but, maybe not to the extent that they should is, really get to know your customers on a personal level. I had a store in Austin, Texas on Airport Boulevard, I had a manager, Alex Cancun who basically knew everybody, their family, their dog by heart. He had a woman named Ms. Cindy who had a son in high school who was an all-star basketball player. He got to know her so well, he was invited to their family reunion, that’s how much he knew them and that guy is a true success.
