As the CEO of Data Age, Len Summa has quickly risen to become one of the most knowledgeable and impactful leaders in the social media realm for pawnbrokers. He oversees and monitors the success of all social media profiles of the company, which include Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram. As a thought leader in this space, we asked Len what the impact of social media has on businesses today and why it matters. This is what he had to say:

The numbers are staggering…You can no longer turn a blind eye to social media.

  • 3.5 billion social media users
  • They spend on average 3 hours per day on the social networks
  • 54% of them use the social channels to research products and companies

Social media has become the most influential and cost effective platform for business  not only used for social networking, but it’s also a great way of digitally advertising your brand, your products and your people.

Social media's power allows you to reach a large number of people within seconds of posting a product, an ad, educational content or anything related to your business. It is quickly helping businesses reduce their costs while generating new business and existing business.

With a huge number of online users and many more to come, business owners must not miss out on their chance of marketing on these digital forums where they can reach all the maximum number of potential buyers compared with print or television media marketing.

The social platforms are very easy to use and give the business owner a lot of control with regards to their messaging in how they want to tell their story and get more eyeballs on their business to gain new customers while keeping your existing customers in the know regarding your business.

Social media is growing leaps and bounds every day. It knows no limits in who uses it, and let’s be honest, most of the time it generates a very good experience for the people who use it. This depiction alone aligns with most of the businesses today and their end goals. We all strive to service a lot of new and old clients and we want them to have a great experience with our firms.

Over the years, Data Age has made a conscious effort to embrace social media.  We have partnered with some of the best experts in the business.  PM me if you need more information or would like to talk in detail about this mission critical topic.
