Data Age Business Systems, the developers of PawnMaster pawn management software, are proud to announce that their client base has reached an eCommerce milestone. Using the integrated eCommerce tool e4o, PawnMaster users have listed close to one million items online, with the sales total of items topping out at more than twenty million dollars in revenue. “This is a very exciting time for us,” says Len Summa, CEO of Data Age Business Systems. “We have been analyzing and investing in eCommerce for a long time. We knew the kind of power selling online could bring our customers, and that’s why we integrated it into our industry-leading product. Now our clients can reach customers not just locally, but globally as well. With pawn shop retail sales totaling more than 50% of all income in 2017, listing items online is becoming less of a luxury and more of a necessity.”
Data Age Business Systems introduces their newest product, PawnPortal, to enhance their cloud-based pawn shop management software, PawnMaster Ignite. PawnPortal is a mobile-friendly portal where pawn shop customers can log in to make secure payments for renewals, redemptions, or layaways. The new product will allow pawn shop owners to send out mobile payment reminders so customers can log in right from their cell phone to make payments. It was developed to help pawn shops have more touch-points with their customers and give them more opportunities to keep loan payments current.
While selling your inventory online is becoming a necessity, we want to bring awareness around the cost of doing so and help you gain an understanding of what certain convenience fees are for.
E-foro, our multi-platform e-commerce tool is gaining a lot of momentum in the PawnMaster network. This easy-to-use product in concert with our newest Storefront product is providing huge returns and light speed ROI for the PawnMaster community. With no revenue-sharing fees, our customers are seeing all of the proceeds of their efforts stay in their bottom line and in their business… Not ours! Last week alone we onboarded 16 brand new e-foro customers and we fully expect the product to grow rapidly.
eBay has made quite a few changes to their site in the last few months. Stricter standards, fee changes, new eBay advertising, and most especially the removal of Active Content from item descriptions. This was the hardest hitting of the updates because it forced so many sellers to change the look, feel, and mechanics of their listings’ descriptions. It was a difficult update to comply with but, in the end, it will make eBay a much better selling platform.
