Dave Larson named Director of Client Development for Data Age

Dave’s background in the collateral loan industry spans out more than 20 years. He began as a District Manager for a large chain of pawn shops in the Southeastern United States. There he was promoted to Director of Operations, overseeing all of North Florida and the Tampa Bay region. Taking the knowledge he gained as Director of Operations, he purchased his own pawn shop that he ran for eight years until making the decision to sell.

Dave brings a great deal of pawn industry knowledge to the table, from his experience buying and selling his own pawnshop, to overseeing the operations of a large statewide pawn shop chain, to working in pawn consulting. Dave promises to bring a unique skillset and knowledge base to Data Age that allows the company to become more in tune with their customer base and better equipped to address client needs.

When asked his take on today’s pawn industry Dave stated, “A lot of today’s Pawn brokers are in need. It can be confusing running and owning a business in this industry. I want to help give them the tools necessary to run their shops.” Commenting on Dave’s recruitment Len Summa, CEO of Data Age Business Systems said, “Dave Larson has been a very successful leader in our industry for many years.  He has held every conceivable title in the industry and will bring a well-rounded and very deep knowledge base to help our customers continued success.”

When Dave is not working with pawnbrokers, he enjoys spending time with his family and travelling. His passions include renovating his home and working on cars in his spare time.

From there she advanced to the Marketing department where she currently serves as the Marketing Administrator.
